- Amaro was founded by Armand Rheault, whose name inspired the company’s name.

- First plant expansion (372 square meters)

Our spring water: Preserved purity
Amaro water originates from the pristine forest north of Saint-Cuthbert, in Lanaudière. Sourced from the heart of a 4-million-square-meter virgin forest at the foot of the Canadian Shield, our spring water remains naturally protected from pollution.
The soil naturally filters the water, while the surrounding trees absorb greenhouse gases responsible for global warming. This unique ecosystem helps minimize the carbon footprint linked to transporting our products.
Production that respects nature
At Amaro, respect and innovation coexist in perfect harmony. We only draw on nature’s surplus to preserve the integrity of the source for future generations. Over 98% of Amaro water is bottled in reusable and recyclable bottles, directly at the source. Every step is designed to minimize our ecological footprint.
From the source to your table
Amaro water is bottled according to the most rigorous standards and requirements from Health Canada, the Ministère de l’Environnement and the Ministère de l’Agriculture du Québec.
To protect the purity of our water, no activity is allowed around the source. Only the forest watches silently over it. In addition, our quality and safety management system applies to every step of the process to provide you with exceptional water.
